Let me start by saying that I don’t give out compliments about service easily as I expect it as a standard when I’m spending money at any shop. It should be part and parcel of what I’m buying, and why I am buying it at that merchant. So, when my “high standards” are exceeded, and by far, I am obliged to add my voice to what seems to be growing praise about Peet and the team at Centurion.
I brought my vehicle in to fit some shocks, only to find that there was a lot more wrong with the vehicle than I thought. I, as the customer, would normally have felt “obliged” to take any solutions the experts offered as I needed my vehicle fixed. But, Peet, and the guys, were open and honest about what they saw, and went to great lengths to resolve the issues as effectively as possible. They put in a lot more effort than I expect from any business, and while it did take longer than what I had hoped for originally (quick in and out for the shocks), it worked out better than I could have expected. My vehicle is now safe to drive again, and I am a happy customer.
But… I would not be sending this mail if it had ended there. During this process I also took my daughters car in for a problem she was having with it. What Peet and the guys showed me as causing the problem was, to put it mildly, horrifying. The person who had previously worked on the vehicle had done so much damage while trying to force a fix onto it that it looked as if could have literally fallen apart. Once again, Peet and the team went above and beyond the call of business to try and source parts for her car. Again, this took time as the parts were not readily available, but they didn’t give up. Last night, the team put in still more effort into getting the vehicle right, and eventually we succeeded. Again, longer, and slightly more expensive than I originally hoped for. But, again the vehicle is now safe to drive, and I have a happy daughter.
I can personally now confidently recommend Peet and the team at Autoquip Centurion to anybody who needs any of the services that they can provide. Job well done guys, thanks!
"I thought that at this time of year. It is always nice to get positive feedback from customers. I happened upon an advert for Autoquip in the record about a week or so ago. I Googled the website and found Peter's email address, the response time in replying to my initial email was not longer than a few hours, by Monday morning Peter had emailed me all the details regarding the tyres as well as the cost and also the time frame it was going to take to have a set of tyres made. Peter sent me an email on Thursday to advise me that the tyres were at the centurion branch ready for me to come through to have them put on my car. Peter also referred me to Carel Cronje.
I called Carel yesterday around midday he was courteous, and friendly over the phone. When I got to Autoquip Carel was there immediately to greet me, the entire process of purchasing was smooth and professional.
I believe in giving credit where credit is due. Peter and the team at Centurion were true examples of how a customer service should be.

I would just like to bring to your attention of excellent service I received today from your team at Auto City, Lenchen road, Centurion. I had Bridgestone tyres put on in April this year, and my right front wheel had knobs on and a tear in. I went to Speedy Bloemfontein, church street on sat the 28 June 2014 at 12.50 the lady that was the manager as well refused to help us because there machines were off. Told my husband he must go the Auto Quip in Centurion and meet with the rep Ricardo. I met with him this morning and he helped me so much and told me he cannot believe that Speedy will tell me to ride long road with the tyre that was looking so bad. They checked all 4 my tyres and 2 were replaced 2 hours after I was there because they were concerned of the tyre that was damaged. I have never been to any tyre place and been assisted so professionally and friendly, and there electricity is off they are working with generators but still they render there service they need to. From the manager to workers to the guys that changed my tyres. WELL DONE!!!!"
I had an accident with my car on the 11th of April and on 14 April, took the car in to Autoquip Centurion.
The gentleman who assisted me, Jaco, was fantastic. Him and his team went out of their way to assist me! Even after I took delivery of the car and was driving home the same evening and became aware of a noise in my car and phoned them after 17:00, they waited for me, to come back to the store and assist me again. It turned out to be a minor problem but the fact is that they waited for me to come back, after hours and again this morning phoned to check if all was ok.
This is a fantastic branch and I will definitely use them again and refer them to anybody I can!

"Good day Peter,
I like to give you some feedback of my experience with Autoquip. I could not find a link on your website to give feedback.
Yesterday (2 Oct) my car went in for a service and after leaving the BMW dealership I noted that my left front wheel had picked up screw. I tried calling you after 17h00, however you had already left work.
I took a chance in calling Autoquip Centurion as they are located near my house. Pieter Klopper answered the phone and was willing to assist me after 17h00. I informed him about the quote you gave me below and he was willing to get me 4 Bridgestone's at the same price. He had only two tyres in stock out of the four tyres I required. However he noted that a Cape Town Branch had stock. He informed me that he would arrange stock and would hopefully have them by Friday midday(4 Oct).
This morning (3 Oct) at 8h10 I received a call from Pieter. He was able to arrange me 2two additional tyres and should have the by midday today. He offered that if I like to bring in my car earlier he would have me taken back to work and collect by his driver when the car is done. At 10h21 Pieter called again to say he should have the tyres in the the next 15 minutes. I arrived at Autoquip Centurion around 13h30 and Pieter knew exactly who I was on arrival without introducing myself. With all my car tyres replaced and wheel alignment done, I left Autoquip Centurion around 15h00.
I like to thank you for your quick response in providing me with a quotation a set of four new tyres.

This email comes whilst I wait for my tyre to be fitted here at your centurion branch.
This serves to inform you of the fantastic service I have received from a member of staff, Bono.
I'm unsure of whether I've spelt that right,but this gentleman had me sorted within 10 minutes. I called for a 17" tyre which you didn't have at this branch,within 10 minutes Bono called me back to say it would be here by this afternoon or tomorrow. He called me back about an hour later to say it had arrived. During this time he provided me with a price both for the tyre and fitment which saved me over R1500 as compared to another competitor who had priced me just for the tyre alone.
Bono was friendly,informed,and never left out a detail. I am new to Gauteng but I have not experienced warmth anywhere else like I did here.
I arrived here to be greeted by an incredibly warm team headed by Pieter. I am a young female so I am clueless when it comes to cars and the like! Pieter never forced a sale on me but gave me sound advice which I agreed to.
In the day and age where so many are sucked into a vortex of unpleasantness and good service seems to be a thing of the past,I am more than happy to say that I will definitely be coming to Autoquip for all my tyre and wheel needs. Keep up the amazing work!!

Firstly to Peter who was the ONLY person to respond and provide me with a quote I requested via email to numerous tyre fitment companies. Not only did he respond quickly and efficiently, but the prics that were quoted beat other prices I researched hands down.
Secondly to all the staff at the Centurion branch who had fantastic attitudes, broad genuine smiles and displayed great helpfullness from the minute I walked in till the time I left.
Lastly to Ian who was kind enough to structure all the service which accomodated my budget all with a smile and great mannerism.

"I have been hunting around for tyre quotes the whole of today, and became rather frustrated with the lack of service in the industry. This frustration ended when I got through to your Centurion branch and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Bono.
He was friendly, courteous, efficient and just all round a pleasure to deal with! He was the first one of all the companies I had called that also asked for My details, and when would suit me best to take my car. He also double checked if I knew where the branch was located!
To top it all off, your price so far is the best I have come across! But even it it were more expensive, I would still have visited your Centurion branch purely for this man's service.

"Exceptional customer service
Thank you to Bono and staff for the good customer service yesterday when I had 2 tyres fitted to my vehicle and the wheels balanced and aligned.
I had shopped around at other service centres and Autoquip was slightly more expensive on the particular tyres I wanted (but cheaper on the wheel alignment) , but their polite and professional telephone manner, informing me of the special price and the guarantee on the tyres, swayed my decision to give Autoquip my business.
From my arrival, walking out to greet me in the parking lot, to the complementary coffee, the technical advice and explanation of the faults identified on the tyres - professional and informative, was well received.
Also, I would like to make a point to say a big thank you to Hein who was friendly, polite and professional and took the time to carefully explain the wheel alignment readings and the extra adjustments needed during the wheel alignment. This is something very rare in my experience and was appreciated.
My overall experience at Autoquip was a refreshingly positive one, sadly something I have not frequently experienced at other service centres.
I plan to contact them next month to change my shock absorbers."
"I need to tell you that your Centurion branch really offers exceptional service to its customers, especially these days where service is not normally given. I bought tyres there during February of this year and they gave me vouchers for balancing and alignment. After accidentally going through a large pothole (there are as much potholes as you can find bad service) on my way to a wedding I took the car to them on Saturday (20121103) morning. I requested they check the balancing and alignment which they did and more. They explained to me professionally of everything that went wrong in the process and fixed everything as well.
